I was a kid I was lost in the world,

 I didn’t know what to do I was just a small girl,

I had a dream to have a best friend,

Someone who’d understand me.

I was so lonely I cried everyday,

I needed someone to say it’s OK,

To make me feel confident to fight my own fights,

When I picked you I knew I was right;

That you were the one who should be with me for life,

You were the one that should be by my side,

I needed you to help me when something was wrong.......

I didn’t know what a good friend you were before,

I wish I could've known more.

I wish we always could be together,

Our friendship would get better and better,

We would stay best friends for ever and ever,

I wish, it would all come true.
